Recently, Todd Davis, the CEO of LifeLock announced an upcoming release of new technology to fight fraud in real time, thus offering even better identity theft protection. According to Mr. Davis, this new technology will provide better and broader protection to their clients. It will include doing deep forensic analysis of the entire credit network, by monitoring millions of data sources, including retailers, banks, mortgage lenders, utilities and auto lenders. Additionally, this is considerably more than the credit bureaus monitor. This new system will replace fraud alerts, while they will continue to offer their suite of identity theft protection services including WalletLock, eRecon TrueAddress and the $1 million total service guarantee.

As criminals become increasing sly by devising more complex schemes to defraud people, this improved technology is important in continuing to protect consumers. This clearly shows LifeLocks commitment to providing the best service to their clients. Since 2005, LifeLock has been the industry leader in identity theft protection and it appears they will continue to be the leader. Consumer reviews on independent web sites seem to be pretty positive. Not only do the comments deal with the million dollar guarantee, but also touch upon how LifeLock stopped unsolicited credit offers, offer to keep kids safe and a current copy of your credit report.

Overall, there is no negative coverage related to the LifeLock programs. The price is deemed a good investment for the return and the program seems to work for the consumers who write on review sites.

The hook that caught most people’s attention is that the CEO’s social security number is plainly visible on the home page of LifeLock. The CEO, Todd Davis, believes in his own company so much that he has taken this step to prove to his customers and potential customers that the LifeLock system works.
